Gunpowder, Treason and Plot

Remember, Remember! The fifth of November,
Gunpowder, Treason and Plot!

~

This is how I displayed me sparklers this year.

There are lots of Vintage bottles in My Etsy Shop, if you'd like to purchase some.

I've seen and heard a LOT of fireworks this year.

I hope you had a perfect Guy Fawkes Night.

  1. I love those bottles holding your sparklers.
We didn't do anything, we were invited to a friend's annual shindig but felt lazy. The fireworks have been going off for ages here what with it being an auspicious time for Hindu weddings, Diwali, Guy Fawkes and it'll be Guru Nanak's birthday in a week's time. We've only got to open the curtains to witness a display! xxx

  2. I'm kind glad Guy Fawkes Nights is over as the local kids have been lighting fire works around mine. Me and my partner away on the bon fire night for his Mam's birthday and we had a lovely dinner. I like fire works displays but wish the would stop selling them to the public.

    1. Some kids do ruin it for everyone when they start lighting noisy fireworks so early on. Glad you had a lovely birthday dinner for your mother in law :)

  3. Love the brights and the darks... And I can always appreciate the importance of remembering treason and plot.

  5. I missed this post Yvonne but I did see some of your photos on Instagram. Firework night was quiet for us but enjoyable none the less. We benefit from having neighbours with children (we get to share the fireworks if only out of the window) :-)

    1. I do love fireworks, but the noisier ones can be annoying. Glad you enjoyed some part of them ♥
