Happy New Year, one and all!
I'm not one to make New Year's resolutions, but it's a great
time to start new hobbies or bring old ones back to life.
I love my job and my little corner of Etsy, but
these days, I don't even have the energy to
read a few chapters before falling asleep,
let alone paint, draw or sew.
I've decided to reintroduce these loves into my life throughout the year.
2017, for me, will be a year of creativity.
Already feeling more organised, I've updated my new address book.
It was a gift from my daughter, who filled the blank
pages with quotes and drawings. I love it!
I've been creating new items of jewellery, which will make an
appearance in The Shop this month some time.
I've also been creating bowls, using scratched LPs and gramophone records.
I won't be selling these, though, but have been donating them to
local charity shops and gifting them to friends.
You already know how much I love photography and am contemplating
the idea of selling photography prints or greeting cards in The Shop, too.
Finally, I've treated myself to a little sketch book, which I intend to carry
around with me everywhere I go. Something I haven't done in a while.
So, that's how 2017 is looking for me.
