Vintage Treasure for Profit and Pleasure

It's been a while since I shared images of one of my
vintage hunts, but over the past few weeks, I've
visited a number of antique centres and
second-hand shops, so thought it
time to share my finds...

~

My love of vintage suitcases brought me to these beauties,
but I already have a vast collection, so decided to leave
these for some other admirer to marvel at, for now.

As for this Lloyd Loom furniture.  I already own enough of my own,
and it's not exactly something I can sell in The Shop and post
to a buyer, so I begrudgingly left these behind too.

These were purchased by my companions for
the day, but what a beautiful oil painting and candlestick!

The antique, Nunbetta throat tablet bottle has been
proudly added to my own collection.

And these mysterious and spooky books will be gradually
making their way into The Shop over the coming weeks...

...but first, I may read them all one or two.

Have you been on a vintage hunt lately?

Have a perfect day!

  4. When I was in university, I enjoyed going to second-hand shops, garage sales, etc looking for treasures. I made a few amazing finds (i.e. things that I loved) and they are still in my house today. But once I entered the workforce, I just don't have the time anymore. I'm looking forward to a return to treasure hunting when I am retired!

    1. Aww, it's one of my favourite things to do.
I hope you do find time for it before retirement ♥

  5. Vintage suitcases do something wild and warm for my witchy heart. I wish we have more space than we do, as it is... I only own one.

I might have to get my hands on The Corpse Was No Lady. The title is brilliant!
