Spring Forward

Winter seems to have gone on far to long, and even
though it's the perfect weather for cuddling up
with mugs of hot tea and good reads...

I'm completely fed up with the rain.

Today, I thought it was time for Spring to make an appearance,
so I'm sharing images of my Saint David's Day Daffodils.

And a little peek at last year's hydrangea blossoms, which have
dried perfectly and will be used in an upcoming project.

I'm wondering what the weather's like, where you are.

  1. Is there anything cheerier than daffodils? I don't think so!

  3. Your feelings about the rain echo my feelings about the cold. We had a few days of nice weather, and now we are freezing again. I know winter needs his turn, but I wish he would start packing his things already.

    Love the blooming sunshine!

  5. Hello Yvonne, Your daffy photos are absolutely stunning. Your hydrangeas have reminded me to pick some of mine to dry before they all fade. We are getting little touches of autumn here which is a welcome relief after a hot summer.

  6. Hi Yvonne, will it ever stop raining? Our garden is absolutely saturated, but the daffodils and primroses still manage to flower and look beautiful. I think the April ‘showers’ (downpours) have arrived a month early. :)
Your photographs are beautiful. Hugs Barbara

  8. Hi Yvonne, I love daffodils! Yours are gorgeous. Can't wait to plant some bulbs. We moved so our new home has no daffodils. What a shame. I found out that this woody shrub with nothing but pink beautiful blossoms is a Quince. 😊💕
