Book Accumulation (and a winner)

It will come as no surprise that my cottage is gradually
becoming overrun with an accumulation of books.

Which I completely love!

For one thing, I love to read.

I'm currently reading Laline Paull's The Bees.

If you haven't had the chance to yet, you should.
It's perfectly strange and will make you
look at bees in a whole new light.

I also run an online bookshop, over on Etsy.

You can visit Melancholy & Menace by clicking HERE and will
hopefully enjoy browsing through the dark, vintage reads you'll find there.

I like to own collections of books, especially if
they're written by my favourite authors.

As well as all that.  I still own quite a few of my childhood books.
I've never been very good at parting with things.

And finally, there are the books that I own many different copies
of, mostly because the cover art is different. I will show
you those in finer detail, at a later date.

And now, I'd like to announce the winner of the
first week of my 'Summer Book Giveaway'.

The giveaway prize is a copy of Susan Hill's 'The Woman in Black'

The number drawn using was...

The lovely Emma of Little Gothic Horrors.

Congratulations, lovely lady!

Your book is on its way.

The next giveaway will be happening this coming Monday.
